● verse counts from Tanzil Uthmani text. Meccan/Medinan classification per Cairo 1924 edition.

Method: surah profile figures. Word-token and root counts are drawn from the Leeds Quranic Arabic Corpus v0.4 morphology files, one token per morphology entry (Leeds' Uthmani tokenization). Chronology period follows the Egyptian Standard (Cairo 1924) Meccan/Medinan and four-period classification. Root diversity ratio divides distinct roots by all word-tokens in the surah, including function words with no tagged root. Cross-reference connectivity (Mishkat Mutashābihāt corpus) counts distinct other surahs cross-referenced (same-surah references excluded) and covers 110 of 114 surahs; surahs 104, 105, 106, and 110 show no figure rather than zero, since they are outside current coverage. These are descriptive corpus counts, not claims about meaning or emphasis.
